As you may or may not be aware, cPanel announced a large price increase to their control panel software licenses. While we don't agree with it, there's isn't much we can do about it. In late June and early July, cPanel CEO made this announcement:

While we're all accustomed to using cPanel, some of you may like an alternative to avoid potential price hikes. This change in pricing will NOT have any affect on pricing for our Shared and Ecommerce hosting customers. However, there will be a small price increase for VPS and Dedicated Server customers (less than $10 / month) beginning in December. We will be notifying our VPSand Dedicated Server customers directly.
As an alternative, we do offer free migrations to a control panel called DirectAdmin and there is no price increase when using this control panel. More information can be seen here:
